The first Tramway systems in Belarus started on October 13, 1929 when two Belarusian tramway lines were created in Minsk.
Nowadays, there are 11 tramway lines in Minsk. Also, tramway lines exist in Homel, Brest, Mogilev, Vitebsk, Grodno. The cost of a ticket is about 0.16 Euro.
